I’ve been working with my good friends at Oxfordshire’s @asbrewco to develop a custom illustration for each beer from their core four. This is a series very close to my heart & was especially rewarding to see our hard work come to fruition on tap badges, beer mats & other bits & bobs around my home town. Exceptional beer too!
Written by Jason Hook & illustrated my me & available in the UK as a proper real actual book from May 5th. Whoop!

I’ve recently been accepted as a vector illustration contributor on iStock. This means a selection of my illustrations are available for purchase at a very reasonable rate and can be used as they are or individual elements selected & edited as desired using any vector software like Adobe Illustrator.
Very small start, and a challenge to know what & when to produce – both in terms of style & subject, but a start nonetheless : )

Found this great tutorial on Clare Young’s website so thought have a go a go at some hand cut tin decorations for Christmas gifts this year. They turned out rather sweet.
I’ve submitted an original piece of artwork to @heartresearchuk ‘s #anonartproject – all pieces will be auctioned on eBay from now until 11th November to raise money to take on heart disease. www.heartresearch.org.uk/heartproject

Had a bit of a crafty weekend & decided to try some pen & ink illustration on my new (old & free found by side of the road!) standing lamp. Turned out quite delicate & pretty.
As well as creating the artwork for lovely organiser Sarah Crosier at LoveCatsCraft. I’ve gone & got me a little table! Please come down to Brighton town this Sunday for prints, cards & other illustrated goodies as well as plenty of tea & cake and other beautiful products by local creative folk! xx
I haven’t been to many, but I love a good wedding. That little nugget of a golden day, either playing out perfectly or hiccups-a-plenty, when you get to see someone you love get flooded with it from all corners. Leonie & Nick’s was proper. I laughed, I got a bit weepy, and a bit tipsy, and I did the conga! Thank you so much for such an amazing day shared with the two of you.
The invites, the dress, the flowers, the food, everything was perfectly designed from start to finish, even her p’interest board was beautiful! I wanted to create them a special gift, a wedding illustration that fit in with their vision for the day, their own sense of style, and things that were personal to them as a couple. I think they liked it 🙂
After improving their submission process and changing the rules about music, had another go this year and guess what?? RUNNER UP! You can now catch this puppy intermittently on E4 for a year – woohoo!
